…Commends KSYMSN on Advocacy, Sensitization Functions
A Group, under the auspices of the Bello Initiative for Greater Nigeria (BIG NIGERIA 2023) has unveiled plans to galvanize support for Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to vie for Nigeria’s Presidency, come 2023.
The Group, led by its National Coordinator, Comr. Nuhu Usman made this known when it was hosted by Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja in his Office on Thursday.
Chief Onoja whilst welcoming the Group, quickly tasked its members on a complementary role with other support groups like the Bello Ambassadors Network, BAN, CEDO 4 GYB2PYB 2023.
He noted that the clarion call by Nigerians across board on Governor Bello to vie for Presidency is a Divine Project, adding that only the foundations of transparency, trust and communication would serve as the most successful formulas for the Group.
He charged members to factor their policies on national lines targeting the younger demography in the forthcoming Continued Voter Registration by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, bearing in mind those of age, but without PVCs.
He reiterated his pledge to any idea geared towards the actualization GYB2PYB Agenda, assuring the Group of his support in line with its vision of working in partnership to strengthen and safeguard democratic institutions, whilst securing the quality of life of Nigerians.
The Deputy Governor on had also received in his Office, an advocacy Group– the Kogi State Youth Mobilization and Sensitization Network (KSYMSN), led by its President, Abdulbaki Adinoyi.
Chief Onoja commended members of the Network for its advocacy functions designed to proffer skill acquisition programs for youths whilst educating them on the dangers of various social vices, as well as promoting women inclusiveness in governance.
He however tasked members of the KSYMSN to foster efforts in not only acquiring their PVCs, but coming out en mass to vote for candidates of their choices, which according to him, aligns with their modus operandi.
