The Kogi central chapter of the CEDO 4 GYB2PYB has paid a courtesy visit to the family of Late Dr. Ahmed Victor Idowu who died of lassa fever at Federal Medical Center, Lokoja.
The group which was led by the Zonal Coordinator, Mr Spreading James Avabee with his other local government Coordinators arrived Ihima in Okehi Local government shortly after Sensitization Exercise of APC Registration/Revalidation Across the five local governments of the central senatorial district.
The visit was in conformity with the proposed house giveaway of the Kogi Deputy Governor, His Excellency Chief Dr. Edward David Onoja, which is geared toward ameliorating the suffering of aged people by making provision of shelter so affordable.
Hon. James Avabee express dissatisfaction over the unpleasant situation the aged mother of Late Dr. Victor is undergoing, noting that the healing hands of Chief (Dr) Edward David Onoja will ease her suffering as measures are already in place to see permanent stop to it.
The mother of the late Dr. Ahmed Victor Idowu appreciate Gov. bello’s government for his swift attention to her plight during the time of her sorrows and pain, urging everyone to throw in hands of support, and turn blind eyes to ethnicity.
She described The Deputy Governor, Chief ( Dr) Edward Onoja as a pillar of hope for younger generation, reliable friend for standing firm with Gov. Bello to succeed in his unquenchable desire to position Kogi state into an enviable pinnacle of excellence.
” I’m so saturated with joy and euphoria for this great News, I have been a lover and supporter of this government, this is what my late son had done, he so much believed and have many times exuded confidence in Gov. bello’s administration before his exit, I haven’t met Dr. Edward Onoja but as they have it, magnanimity has no tribe, and sentiment attached, he is a reliable man for a purpose, his support for this administration has so far been commended, May Almighty God bless him for this you get generation ” She said.
