Mc Highness: The Airhead Behind Several Pseudo Accounts ln Kogi State Uncovered (Photos)

By CableNews

Fake news, also known as junk news is a form of content with deliberate goal for disinformation and defamation of character.

Fake news that often floods social media is always written and published usually with the intent to mislead the public or damage some people’s image for gain (financially or politically).

This unholy act is becoming the latest trend in Kogi state. Recently it’s a case of one Micheal Idoko (A.k.a Mc Highness) whose primary assignment is to dent the image of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja. In the post, Micheal Idoko (Aka Mc Highness) through his pseudo account “Kogi Demons King” accused the Deputy Governor of masterminding the arrest of one Habib from Dekina and also alleged the Deputy Governor of planning to arrest all opposition members in Dekina LGA before the local government Chairmanship election.

An investigation had proven that Micheal Sam Idoko aka MC Highness used the same phone number he used in verifying his personal Facebook account to verify the pseudo accounts on several occasions.

Enough of this barbaric act from some of our youths who are bent on destroying the image of those in power. We are calling on the appropriate security agencies to pick up this matter and arrest him for interrogation. If found guilty, he should be used as a scapegoat so that others indulging in such malicious acts should learn.

Defamation of character is a criminal offense and it’s punishable under the law. Let Idoko Micheal face the full wrath of the law.

Arresting social media fake news peddlers has become pertinent in Kogi State because Fake news stirs up unnecessary tension within the good citizen of the state and most times causes a breakdown of law and order within and outside the State capital. We, therefore, urge the relevant security agencies to do their job with the following pictorial evidence below:
